In December 2020, a whopping 86% of bookings were for resort stays with two or more bedrooms. Families are eager to gather and comfortably spread out in gorgeous multi-bedroom units with spacious living areas, in-unit washers/dryers, private balconies, and more. 

When specifically are groups looking to travel? Late Spring (April-May) and Fall of 2021 were the most booked resort stays on KOALA, coming in at 36% and 22% of total bookings respectively. Our data indicates that bookings are clearly timed to coincide with a safer travel landscape. Continuing the trend, travelers are also gravitating towards flexible cancellation policies.
