You asked, we answered!

Club Wyndham

The What, the Where, the When: Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek continued to be highly popular with travelers, both as a last-minute rental option and for the upcoming Fall season. As with previous months, 2 bedrooms were consistently a winning unit for owners. For Winter travel, Club Wyndham Margaritaville – St. Thomas took the top spot – particularly poolside studio units.

The average price of a Wyndham booking on KOALA came out to $176/night (with variation by resort and season), showing travelers continue to book affordable listings at resorts they love. With KOALA’s Wyndham-specific cancellation policy, you can protect your points while offering added flexibility to travelers.

Marriott Vacation Club

The What, the Where, the When: Marriott’s MountainSide was most popular for (no surprise) winter bookings, when travelers are looking to take advantage of the resort’s chairlift location and spacious 2 bedroom suites. Marriott’s Grand Chateau in Las Vegas was the most-booked for Fall season, with travelers gravitating towards shorter (4-6 night) stays.

Interestingly, while the average price for Marriott bookings was $347/night, Grand Chateau’s average booking price was $437/night, and MountainSide’s average booking price was $600/night. What does this mean for you? It’s simple. An optimized booking, particularly at a high-demand resort, can often command a higher price — as long as that price remains competitive.

Disney Vacation Club

The What, the Where, the When: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas was the most-booked DVC resort on KOALA with a wide range of bookings by season. Travelers were particularly keen to book studio units, which offer affordable accommodations and a branded experience in a stunning resort conveniently located close to Disney World.

As with Marriott, Disney’s average booking price per night was higher than KOALA’s overall average of $200/night. For Disney bookings, the average price per night was $322.

Still unsure where and when to rent your Disney points? KOALA Concierge offers guaranteed bookings (and we’ll match any competitor’s price). Best of all, you don’t have to lift a finger.

The What, the Where, the When: Hilton Grand Islander, The Quin by Hilton Club, and West 57th Street by Hilton Club were the most popular Hilton Resorts on KOALA, with unit choices split between studios and 1-2 bedroom suites. Owners with Home Weeks in these resorts should consider creating a listing for them. Pro Tip: be competitive on price to get booked, with Hilton Grand Vacations bookings coming in at an average price of $243/night.

Bluegreen

Travelers were particularly drawn to Bluegreen’s Florida resorts, with Bluegreen Vacations Via Roma Beach Resort and Bluegreen at Tradewinds during winter proving particularly popular. The most successful Bluegreen owners offer affordable accommodations, with an average price of $155 per night across Bluegreen bookings on KOALA.
