Why KOALA?
Forget the old stereotypes of timeshares; today’s timeshares (a.k.a. vacation clubs) are built and managed by major brands like Hilton, Marriott and yep even Disney. They typically feature full kitchens and multiple bedrooms like a vacation rental but also have resort amenities like pools, wellness centers, restaurants, professional on-site staffing and more. Timeshare owners who buy into these clubs have recurring time and recurring costs that they must pay even when they’re not using it. KOALA helps owners offset these costs by renting to vacationers at very affordable rates. It’s a win-win and offers broader travelers access to these vacation clubs for the first time at scale.
The Stay
Rosie opted to book a stay at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek with us. Bonnet Creek Resort is a budget-friendly choice that didn’t compromise on location. In fact, it’s the only non-Disney branded timeshare resort that is located inside the gates of Disney. Typically one would have to shell out considerably more to stay at one of the Disney Vacation Clubs for that proximity. While those resorts are spectacular (and certainly are worth the extra cost to some) they’re not in the budget for all.
Disney-on-the-cheap
Vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort on a budget is more than possible. You won’t even have to compromise convenience or quality — but more importantly your kids will think you actually splurged.
